The Red Chicken -Creative Writing
Once upon a time there lived a farmer named Mister who has a red chicken that treats
the chicken like a son. He has a wife named Misis and working in the city. His wife always
sends him money through Palawan Express, palawan express is a pawnshop. But instead
of spending the money on the needs, he always spends it on gambling on chicken fights.
His wife doesn’t know what he’s doing because the farm is far away and only go home every
weekend. He always lost on the gambling and the money that his wife gave to him is gone.
His red chicken is exhausted because of the chicken fight. Mister is always sad and scared
of his wife Misis because if she finds out about gambling her wife will get mad because instead
of using the money in the farm, he used it on gambling or chicken fights. The chicken fight is just
across the street and not far from his farm. On another day, Misis called his mister to know what’s
happening on the farm. Then mister said it is okay and there is no problem. But Mister lied because
his farm is not okay and his crops are dying because he has no more money on maintaining the
farm. He doesn't know what to do anymore but to tell Misis the truth. Then it is already the weekend
and Misis is going home to see Mister and the farm. Misis has arrived and approaching to Mister.
And mister also approaches mister like in slow motion and his heart is beating fast like he is super
in love with Misis but he is not. Then he is ready to tell the truth. His wife hugged him and asked:
the chicken like a son. He has a wife named Misis and working in the city. His wife always

and Misis is going home to see Mister and the farm. Misis has arrived and approaching to Mister.

‘How are you Mister? And how is Red chicken and the farm?’ He told her that ‘Misis i want to tell
you something, the money that you’re sending me is gone. ‘What!!? Why!!?? Said misis.

Then Misis left Mister for a week and giving Mister time to get that money he promised.
Mister is preparing the red chicken to get that money back and he must prepare it within a week.
He put red chicken in good condition and feeding it with good feeds. After that He trains red
chicken and training it in hard ways to make the chicken tougher and stronger.

The red chicken then replied: Bok Bok Bokak!
Then mister said: That's right yeah! That's what I'm talking about.
He then prepared for the chicken fight tomorrow.
Then the morning comes the birds are flying, the farm is quiet, and The red chicken is ready for
the fight. Mister then woke up excited and get ready for his fight. He goes now to his chicken
and starts going to the gambling place. They arrived bravely and the crowd is shouting for the
fight. The gamble has a price that is 3000 dollars, Mister then said to the chicken, ‘okay listen up
fight strong remember that i have faith in you, remember that I’m always here for you cheering’
then the red chicken enters the fighting ground and meets his opponent the ‘Black Manok’,
means the dark chicken and campion. Red chicken is afraid then the bell starts. Mister then said
remember that daddy loves you.
